Attuning to and Expressing your Higher Self
A presentation and workshop on integrating the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of the Self, so that you can experience wholeness, solve conflicts and more effectively play your part in the divine drama of life.
Presented by Mark Finnan, actor, author, playwright and teacher of the Holistic Integration Process, bridging the gap between the spiritual and the physical.
As spiritual beings endowed with creative mental abilities and living in physical bodies, we are tasked with the need to awaken to the divine within ourselves. However, as many on this quest have experienced, in spite of having a high ideal and a genuine desire to progress on the spiritual path, we inevitably face self-imposed limitations and continue to encounter challenges and conflicts in our relationship with others and the world around us.
We often find ourselves failing in our efforts to experience and express that which we earnestly desire to be. We may feel stuck in a rut, unable to advance beyond a certain stage. Negative attitudes and emotions can play havoc with our best intentions and drain us of spiritual energy. Material influences from within and without can easily distract us and entice us away from our intended path.
Sometimes our spiritual seeking is itself not well balanced or grounded. Feeling
frustrated or helpless we may be tempted, in spite of our best intentions, to abandon our efforts to become the person we can be, to fulfill our soul’s purpose.
By learning to work in a conscious, creative way with a set spiritual ideal and the principle that ‘the mind is the bridge between the spiritual and the material’, we can raise our consciousness, establish a state of inner harmony and unity, so as to be able to realize and express our integrated true self.
The talk and workshop focus on our origin as spiritual beings and our ability to regain and utilise that awareness in the present, to our own and others’ benefit.
